===== Introduction =====
                                              

  * **Always Check Grand Exchange First** - If the goal is just to make some cash make sure you check GE before you randomly pick something and commit a lot of time to it. Even better - arrange a buyer in the Discord #market channel or in game general chat before wasting your time. There is also a #Market-Listings channel. 


  * **Not everything is always in demand at all times - ask around or check current buy offers.** **Learn what opportunity cost is - sometimes it's better to do a lower earning method that you can cash in on immediately than sitting on something that'll earn you more money but may take days or weeks to sell.**  * You can use ::ge buying, ::ge selling, and ::ge search ingame to determine if there's something in demand that you might want to do.

  * Something being Early/Mid/Late game is determined by an arbitary level I made up. 1-50 for early, 51-80 for middle, and 81-99 for late.

===== Early Money Making [1-50] =====


==== Mining Clay ====

**150-300k/hour**

This depends on your mining level and where your mining but generally you can sell clay at 200-300 gold per hour, possibly higher if you turn it into soft clay via bucket of water + clay or bracelet of clay. Clay is primarily used for crafting or early game construction purposes but people with the appropriate magic level and access to a Lecturn can turn them into enchantment or teleport tablets.

==== Gathering Snape grass ====
by the Hobgoblin Island.

**150-400k/hour**

There's a few variables for this method. If you're teleporting back to Falador, if your house is a remmington, and if you're using a Best of Burdern will heavily influence your total snape grass per hour and also your attentiveness influences the output as there's 2 quickly respawning spots you're gathering at. You can expect up to 400+ Snape grass per hour at this spot assuming you teleport back to Falador after each trip as each snape grass sells for 300-500 gp each.

==== Spirit Spider ====


**200-360k/hour** 

This requires a humble 10 summoning and making the required puches and scrolls. With no summoning pots, 4 pouches, and the approrpriate amount of scrolls (328 scrolls per hour) you'd end up with around 500-600 red spider eggs per hour to almost double if summoning potions were used. At around 400-600gp per egg you're looking at 200k at the low end. With the low supply of eggs this is a sellers market so you may be able to sell for more.

==== Fletching ====

**???/hour** 

This is more of something you'd do trying to get to yews or magic logs, don't expect much money at all if you're fletching even up to maple logs but it is enough to get a few low level things. Make sure you sell your unstrung bows at the bandit shop in the wild as their buying price starts at high alch levels. Prepare for surviving revenants.

==== Collecting flax ====

**140-300k/hour**

Currently with no quests required to access Lletya the current maximum flax per hour is at 1,400 and when it's currently going as high as 150 (yes, before it's even spun to bow string) you can get some good gold per hour with no requirements.

==== Fishing Trawler ====

**Variable/hour**

There's no telling how much you can earn because it really depends on your fishing level and RNG. That said, even at the bare minimum of 15 fishing to do the minigame the potential non-fish loot can be worthwhile. You can get key pieces which you combine to turn into a crystal key which 100% gives you an uncut dragonstone which sells for 40-65k ea. This minigame also gives amazing exp and the most amount of fish you could get normally for Sharks and rare fish such as the sea turtles and Mantarays if you have the fishing level for them.

==== Mining Pure Essence ====
 
**160k/hour**

With a Rune pickaxe you should be able to mine up to 900~ pure ess per hour and at current prices of 150-180 per you're looking at 160k~ per hour. Rune Pouces allow for more essence per hour.

===== Mid Money Making [51-80] =====

==== Nature/Law Runes ====

**300-720k/hour**

This has so many variables that the potential gold is all over the place. In 2009 your RC levels determines how often you get double runes, so you don't need 90+ RC to get double nats, just to get them 100% of the time. On top of that it depends on if you're using Graahk's or Abyss and what pouches you're using. Generally they sell for 300-375gp each.

==== Gathering Snape grass ====
in Waterbirth Island.

**300-750k/hour**

This spot is a lot more relaxed as you're gathering from 6-7 snape grass spawns, though the spawns are longer than the one at the Hobgoblins. The requirements for this one is 72 magic to cast WAterbirth Teleport, Ring of Dueling to bank, and Lunar Diplomacy, though as of 01/11/23 this isn't implemented so you can switch to lunars for free. You can expect to gather well over 1,000 snape grass per hour with this method. Expect to sell Snape Grass for 300-500 gp each.

==== Yew Longbows ====

Profit depends entirely on if you're getting everything yourself or buying flax/bow strings or even the logs and if you're rcing your own nature runes or not. They high alch for 768gp so your milage will vary.

==== Agility Pyramid ====

**200-300k/hour**

Get 60+ agility first and then follow a guide on how to do it. Summer pies recommended. This is highly suggested as you will sell the tops to an NPC and not have to find a buyer for items like most other methods and pure liquidity methods are valuable as even if the items you farm are worth something, if there's no buyer that means no gold for you.

===== Hax Methods =====

==== Killing Aviansies in GWD ====
400-800k GP per hour with minimal reliance on other players to buy from you. to reach 800k you would need to be 99 range, use geyser/steel titan.

With around 70 defense, and 70 range, you can range aviansies for adamantite bars ( drop 4 noted) which go for at minimum 2k each due to the alch price of Addy platebodies. If you have 88 smithing you can turn these into platebodies and alch them so that you never need to sell to another player.

==== Killing Black Dragons in Taverly ====
200-600k GP per hour, Chance of vissage, Very AFK if ranging. To reach upwards of 600k an hour, you would need to be max combat, using melee, on a slayer task.

Black dragons are a good source of GP due to guaranteed Black dragonhide drops which go for around 2.6k-2.7k each (tied to the high alch value of black d hide bodies) as well as Dragon bones, and other valuables that can net a good profit. Unfortunatly there are only 2 in Taverly and can get rather crowded. The high GP per hour methods require you to be the only person killing them to prosper.

==== Mining Rune with Mobile/Anydesk when you are not home ====
80K GP per hour (but its literally 3 minutes of work every 15 minutes)

People know that I try to mine rune when I have work in the office. Typically I park my account and try to mine rune at the Hero's guild or sometimes the Lava Maze. The idea is to Mine the two rocks, log out, and log back in about 13.5 minutes later to mine them again. I would not attempt doing this right at 85, and you should utilize the lava titan familiar, 99 mining cape, Infernal Adze if you have access. Rune ore can net you over 10k each, or be converted into bars that can net you 13K

 Every day you can do 3 jobs from the tutors around lumbridge to earn an easy 15-25k. Almost everyone does this daily. See the [[activities:daily_tasks|Jobs]] page for more info.

==== Shooting Stars ====

Every day you can turn in 200 stardust to shooting stars for a guaranteed 50k and some runes. This one is highly recommended. See the [[activities:shooting_stars|Shooting Stars]] page for more info.

==== Zaff's Staves ====

Every day you can claim up to 64 battlestaves for 7k each from Zaff in Varrock depending on how much of the Varrock diary you have done. These can be turned into battlestaves and alched for a 2k profit each assuming you can get nature runes at 300gp ea.

==== Arhein ====

He is located at Cathery docks and every day you can buy up to 40 pineapples and 80 seaweed for 2gp each. Pineapples can be composted into supercompost while seaweed is used with buckets of sand to turn into molten glass. With current prices (12/27/2022) this would roughly translate to roughly 30-50k at the cost of 200gp.
